The Chenille Foot makes it easy to create beautiful chenille effects, making it ideal for both beginners and experienced quilters and sewists.

• Thread the machine with sewing thread in both the needle and bobbin.
• Use a minimum of three layers of 16mm (5/8") wide chenille strips. Place the strips into the presser foot.
• Snap on the Chenille Foot.
• Place the fabric to be embellished underneath the presser foot and chenille strips.
• Select a straight stitch, zigzag stitch or three-step zigzag stitch. Use a short stitch length and a narrow stitch width of 1.5–2.0.
• Sew at a slow speed. The Chenille Foot will guide the strips onto the fabric. For added stability, use Tear-Away Stabilizer underneath.
• Add additional rows of chenille strips as desired to complete your project.
• Machine wash the finished project on a cold cycle and tumble dry on a warm setting.

Alternative Method: Spray the project with water, rub with a stiff brush to fray the threads, then dry with a hair dryer.
